New Diocesan Appointments

  1. On the request of the Superior Council of the FMI Congregation, the small local community of FMI Fathers will base in the Parish of St. Francis Xavier, La Plaine, including the Rosalie Retreat Centre. This new change will be effective from Sunday, February 21, 2010. In light of this move, Fr. Godfrey Tarimo has been appointed as the new Parish Priest of St. Andrew, Vieille Case, for a period of three (3) years in the first instance.  He will be assisted by soon to be Fr. Conan Shillingford.
  2. As a result of this change, the Parish of St. Peter, Colihaut will be administered by Fr. Nigel Karam, Priest in charge of St. Theresa’s Parish, Salisbury. He will be helped by Msgr. William John-Lewis for weekend ministries.
  3. With the imminent retirement of Sr. Josee, Miss Noeliva Le Blanc has been appointed as the new Director of Catechetics for the Diocese of Roseau. This appointment was effective from January 5, 2010. There is not as yet a replacement for her previous position as Chancellor. We wish Miss Le Blanc God’s blessings and success in her new position.
  4. Fr. Glanville Joseph, CSsR, has been appointed Superior of the Barataria Community and Parish Priest of St. Theresa’s in Trinidad, effective February 03, 2010.
  5. Fr. Rodney Olive, CSsR, has been appointed Director of the Holy Redeemer Retreat House, Eggleston, with effect from May 2010.
  6. Fr. Mark Owen, CSsR, directs the operations of the Retreat House from January 02, 2010, until the arrival of Fr. Olive.
