The Diocesan Liturgical Commission

Consistently good, authentic liturgical practice throughout the Diocese of Roseau.

• To encourage and sustain good and authentic liturgical practice through ongoing formation of clergy and laity

• To promote a deeper appreciation of the beauty and sacredness of the liturgy

• To disseminate and foster knowledge of the liturgy documents of the Catholic Church

• To assist the Bishop in the policies and regulations regarding liturgical practice in the diocese

• To examine and give approval to new and other liturgical (musical) compositions in light of the three judgments (liturgical, musical and pastoral).

To make available to the parishes of the diocese print and electronic resources (including hymnbooks, liturgical texts for special occasions, translations, audio and video recordings, vestments, etc..)
